Carroll would start their onslaught of goals with a goal from the senior Hunter Drinkall. Vipers would give up a costly penalty as Logan Ormsby sat for interference. Carter Gnau would get the natural hat trick, going top shelf with Cupp for the assist. Fort Wayne would get another penalty, but it didn’t cost them a goal, as Nick Vanryn headed off for hooking. Both a Charger, Braun and a Viper, Goodine would sit for coincidental roughing calls. The Chargers would score on the 4-on-4 to bring their lead to three.

The Vipers would be able to capitalize on this penalty as Micheal Scully scored from Logan Ormsby to make the game 3-5. The black and red would head back to the penalty box, and Jackson Bertels would get a rough.
