Tomorrow’s a big day for the East Noble Knights football team.

East Noble High School is playing for a Class 4-A state title at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis tomorrow against Evansville Memorial. Quarterback Bailey Parker tells Fort Wayne’s NBC it’s a big deal, and not just for the players:

“This means a lot to them, it’s not a big city or big town. Football is big part of this community. It’s just great they get to follow us to Indy. I’ve heard from so many people that they will be there in Indy and already have their hotel already reserved.”

Kickoff is at about 3:30pm Saturday against the Evansville Memorial Tigers, who have also been in the state title game for the past two years.

“If you went out to a cornfield and plowed it up, painted some lines, these kids would show up and play football,” says East Noble football coach Luke Amstutz.
